we decided to brave the weather and head to the beach. by the time we got there we were all starving so we got fish & chips and joe got some crab which looked so good i wish i got it to. after a bit of bonding with the local fishermen we headed down to the beach. when we got there you literally couldn’t see the water, it was like a desert. against our better judgment we started heading towards the horizon in search of the water. we got about half way and it started thundering and pissed it down, after seeing a few lightning bolts i pointed out we were the tallest thing for about a mile radius. loz didn’t like that much, perhaps because he’s the tallest so maybe he thought he’d get hit first. it took us about an hour and a half but we eventually got to the water without being hit by lightning. we paddled knee deep in the drink for a bit and then started the mission back across the desert. on the way back we found a sand fox which made my day. we then went into some pine woods and regressed to our childhood with about two hours of throwing pine cones at pigeons and climbing trees. joe made the mistake of climbing the hardest tree we found in a t-shirt and ruined his arms on the bark. we were all feeling haggard and real hungry again so we headed back to the city for a late night nandos as a farewell feast.
